by MIND on Sunday, March 7, 2010Once upon a time movies were filmed in black-and-white, there was very little in the way of props or special effects, and the success of a movie was dependent upon the substance. Substance being a good storyline, good script and good actors/actresses portraying memorable characters.
Today, there is more and more emphasis on action, computer graphics, incredible images, hot trendy actors/actresses and surround sound. Not that there aren’t good movies, it’s just that the script & storyline can’t sell the movie anymore. The bells and whistles have to be there.
Imagine unwrapping a Snickers bar and, instead, finding a turd. It doesn’t matter that the wrapper says it still taste like $&!#!
