80’s Band Logos – The Good and The Bad and What Works and What Doesn’t…and Why

Ain’t nothin’ but a good time – and perhaps total hysteria – when MIND lead designer Chad McComsey stops in on the MIND Your Business podcast and weighs in on some memorable and classic band logos from the 1980’s…the infancy of the marketing age in music.  Poison, Van Halen, Guns N Roses, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard and more!  Even a lousy band could look great and sell albums if they had a snappy logo and the right packaging.

Of course, a really good band with the logo and the packaging could go through the roof…and many DID.

What does YOUR logo say about YOUR business?

On this week’s podcast, The ChadRock gives some true, honest design insight on some choice 80’s logos to find the good and the bad elements and, in doing so, provide you with insight as to what types of elements can make your OWN business logo jump from skid row to paradise city and represent your business personality and philosophy like a real trooper.  Some of these insights will really surprise you.

Let’s face it…ultimately, every time someone sees your logo, you want them to say “I remember you.”
