You Cannot “Set It And Forget It” With Your Website!
Ron Popeil has probably sold more gadgets and inventions through TV advertising than any individual in the history of mankind. I can’t prove this, of course, but I would LOVE to see where he ranks.
That being said, a few weeks ago one of our clients related that some years back he basically had been taught by a previous web vendor that once your site is built and goes live, you can “set it and forget it.”
This fascinated me enough to dig into that old infomercial and see what we can learn from it…and from Ron Popeil’s audience participation approach. There are some things you wanna do and some things you don’t wanna do…and you will be surprised at WHAT you can learn from this whole concept (and cliche’) that can really help in your approach to your business.
That’s where we’re going on this week’s podcast…it’s a challenge to change your way of thinking about your website. You want to set it and forget it, but you know that won’t bring you success. This week’s podcast is full of success traps and delicious (steak) tips to help you make it easier to keep your website current and in the good graces of the search engines:)
Thank you for taking the time to listen and please remember to send us your questions. We LOVE answering them…that’s what we’re here for! Drop your website development, design, SEO, content marketing and general Internet marketing questions on us through our Ask A Question page. Of course, you can always email us at [email protected], leave a comment on Facebook or simply kick it old school and wire us a telegraph.
